Futuristic Technology

Can you imagine having a smart house? Nobody would have to cook, nobody would have to tie their shoes, nobody would have to do anything but find something to amuse themselves. But really what would be the consequences or having everything done for us? The kids would all be completely absorbed into entertainment the house presents and they would feel as if the house was, in fact, their parents. These would present more problems than it resolves, if you asked me. In fact, we've already started devoloping these houses, yet I still feel as if they will be nothing but trouble in the future. That story The Veldt was a pretty strange story.

Being on Venus for five years without seeing the sun because it is constantly raining would stink, and being locked in a closet during that time would stink even more. Can you just think how bad it would be being locked in a closet for the entire duration that the sun was out. I know that if that was me I'd do my best to knock down the door and lock them out in the rain. Once I got locked in a closet and I had broken down the door in less than two minutes of being locked in. All Summer in a Day was a pretty good book, I think.

What is the best gift in the world you've ever gotten? For me it might be a phone or a laptop, but what if in the future you could see the stars for Christmas, I for one think that would be one of the best Christmas present I would have ever gotten, being able to see the stars while in a rocket to mars, I mean how much better could it get? I did some research on rockets taking people into space and believe it or not, they actually have people that take rides into space. Dennis Tito has the title of being the first paying space passenger in the world. All in all I think that The Gift was one of the best of Bradbury's stories.

Does a baby killing his parents seem impossible to you? If you are like me and the answer is yes, then you should see the baby in The Little Assassin I cannot believe that the little baby was capable of actually killing his parents as an infant. There are no stories on an infant killing their parents, but would you blame a baby for murder? You just can't help but to think if this has happened in real life and the baby grew up as an orphan, or wether they remembered murdering their parents or not. I wonder about these things ever since reading The Little Assassin.
